Went out this afternoon for a little fishin and to see how the ice was holding up.Ice thickness is good,all spots we drilled on the south end were 18"plus as for the top, 95% of the snow is gone and there was quite a bit of flood water approx 2" deep.As for the wind it was bitter and by the time we left the ice the flood water was gettin pretty hard ,and as for the fishin it was very slow got 5 on the ice and one hogg lost at the hole:cry:, but at least we got out again hope this helps.

we drove on at the south end in a old toyota (pretty light) did not hear any cracking or grumbling from the ice, as stated it is a personal choice to drive on but we had no problems 4x4 recommended.
