Going to canmore/banff/lake louise for the weekend

Just wondering if there are places to fly fish at this time. Never been fishing in this area.

In Canmore try the Bow at the engine bridge or downstream of the new Bow River parking lot - but double check the regs as I'm only "mostly" sure these sections are open even though I drive over that bridge every day to get to work.

Gap lake has open water but no idea how it's fishing.

The guys and gals at Wapiti sports in Canmore are great for info. as well.

And if you get skunked but still want to eat fish, go to Marra's Way Sushi - it's the best sushi in town and reasonable too!
