Ice conditions Lesser Slave Lake

I am heading to Slave on Thursday for a few days fishing with some friends. We will be accessing the lake at Kinuso. How are the ice conditions? Is there much snow? How has the fishing been?:)

Just got back from Slave last night, the ice at Joussard was still in good shape, just have to be careful around the permanent shacks for flood water. The fishing was hit and miss for us.

just got back from Slave at Joussard...lots of ice...3.5-4 ft of ice...fishing was hit and miss...yellow jig with minnow seemed to work the best for us...good luck

driving conditions are good. they got a few cold days so there isn't much for flood water. only snow and drifts in some spots that you have to drive around. should still be good for you on thursday. bring the auger extension you will need it
