Guess you have to flip coin now

Maybe try it for yourself. Never know what you might catch.

Good luck!

Not too many fish around there, but the ones you find are sure to be cooperative. Your best chance would be around the bridges!

Or those points that stick-out into the river that are in the park, I had a few good a.m. trips there.

Railroad eh? Don't really remember railroad that close to the river(in Bowness), there is a railway bridge but that is further downstream(by former German Canadian Club), which is a great place to wet a line(used to be better before 'cause of the GCC, great beers on tap for even better price).

I've never fished upstream of Bowness park...

lots of good places, there are some big trout along the park shore, especially on the ends of the breakwaters, and under the footbridge at the west end. Lots of whitefish too. The opposite shore has lots of big fish too.

i fished the bowness section a few days ago and found most of my regular holes very shallow right now and i think i managed one hit on a new hole while i was doing some venturing around. the fustraiting part about this section is it USE to be excellent until they built that foot bridge under the new bridge and alot of the gravel filled up most of the deep holes.

it wasnt the bridge, it was that big flood that messed up the bottom along there. there are some nice holes across on the other side tho if youve never tried there, or try just below the outflow from the filtration plant.

theres a railroad bridge downstream of the 85th street bridge which has some deep holes. there was a time kids (not me of course:)) would jump off it , pretty dangerous practise , all fenced off now . there was a fatality , at least one I know of

Ive seen people use 3 flies before, and once in a while get 3 rockies at the same time, lots of fun if they are all a good size :D
