Hilliards Bay Slave Lake.. Does anyone fish there?

Hi again. Thanks so much for the info you guys on Carson Lake. We might try hilliards bay at slave. Have been there but it was years ago. Is the area safe to drive and hows the fishin. Thanks for any input..Adios

I believe most of the area at Hillard's Bay is closed . Joussard,Assineau and Canyon Creek still open to end of the month.The fishing at Assineau is awsome right now.

Oh yeah ,yes the ice is in good shape we are driving on with our pickups there is around 35 + inches of ice everywhere on Slave Lake .

Thanks Crown. Not sure where assineau is and if there is a well travelled ice road .Will have a look on the map. :)
