I stopped by there yesterday. I didn't see any significant open water. But, I don't know how shallow the fish like to go their. I mainly looked around at Windy Point, i think that's what it's called!

Don't think there's any open water yet. Drove by late tonight. Gonna hit it for some late ice action Tomorrow though. Let you know if I see anything open.

As I suspected, no open water yet. Shouldn't be long though. Had a 50+ fish day between the three of us, biggest was a shade over 2lbs. Great day on the late ice. Here's a few of them...

I`d also like to know. I`d like to take the family down and camp this weekend.

Still ice but lots of places to fish from shore. Not enough space to get a boat in, but did see a belly boater at the north end. On Saturday we had the rare occasion to fish on the ice, and open water.

No worries. Don't be afraid to fish the shallow waters this time of year too. Did well in 6FOW or less - 15 feet or less from shore (at the ice edge)
