Is the ice gone yet?

I am going to be spending the long weekend at a friend's place in Bragg Creek and I was hoping to do some fishing in some of the lakes and ponds around there. Are they all still frozen over or would I find some nice water to fish in?

Check the regs. Not much open around there. You're best bet is Spray Lake or Kananaskis Lakes.

Upper and Lower K Lakes are totally locked in. Upper lake is about 100 feet below what summer water levels will be when the melt/runoff finishes. Spray is iced over pretty solid as well. (I was out there scouting on Sunday).
