I was at Bullshead today to check the status of the ice. The lake is still about 90% frozen over however you could fish from shore in some spots. By opening day, April 1st, it should be close to being wide open if not completely wide open.
I don't want to alarm anyone but I did notice one potential major problem though. I noticed 3 fish floating which suggests there was possibly some winterkill, why else would there be floaters? Hopefully the entire lake didn't winterkill, that would be a shame to say the least.
