And they stock it with rather large Trout correct. 18 inch or so I have been told

They put in 120 46 cm fish this year.

Most of the guys that fish the place on a regular basis seem to put them back. I see very few people keeping any out of there.

i let my big brooky from there, idk y anyone would wana eat such a big fish not to mention a fish out of there :S that lake has big pike, trout, perch, whitefish, burbs, waleye (just what ive heard) and yes lake sturgeon (thats what i heard not saying its true)

Well i have never seen or heard of a whitefish, burbot, walleye or lake sturgeon being caught in there, but yes they do put some of the brood stock trout in there. Unfotunately I think it gets fished out pretty quicly after they do, dont know why you would want to keep an old hatchery fish, but to each his own a guess.

The big ones are old brooders that mostly die after the ice goes and the lake turns over. Don't feel bad about keeping them.
