tyrell lake?

I was just wondering how the fishn is at tyrell lake. I havn't been there in 10 years, and from what I remember it wasn't that great. I heard it is very hard to fish as there is a ton of feed in the lake. But I also heard there are some very large rainbows in there as well. Any tips on bait, lures or flys, or location on the lake would be great. I have a small fishn boat and am located in lethbridge. Thanx Happy fishn!!

I was also thinking about going out to tyrell since I have never been there and it is pretty close to the city. I may try to get either of my boats in there and troll the shore lines with the fly rods looking for some takers. If its nice enough this weekend then it may be a go.

it usually fishes alot better in the winter its pretty slow any other time thats just my experiance there
