Any fly guys out there know where to pick up a belt holster or ome such device to go hands free with a fly rod? Sometimes can be awkward changing fly's mid stream, or getting a fish off with one and a half hands.

My Columbia fishing vest has a velcro loop to hold the rod.

Here is one that I've read about. But never actually purchased. http://fishhandsfree.com/index.php I think I'd trust a velcro loop a lot more than I'd trust this guys double hook idea.

Thats what that loop is for. I thought it was used to clip the mouthpiece of a water bladder to. Thanks, I learn something new everyday on here.

I don't think I have ever seen a vest WITHOUT one!!
it's just that most people are not aware of what the loop is for!:D

There is one out there called the Dobson clip. I think you can only order them online.
