Pigeon lake ice april 16

The ice was still 24'' thick but melting fast along the shoreline.I managed to land a few whites and saw some nice fat walleye and small jacks.I would think that the lake will be free of ice in a couple of weeks.Sure was a nice day out though!

Ya lucky bugger! I wish I could have made it out yesterday.
Oh well there is always next year.
