OK, so I'm staring at my digital maps from Garmin and can obviously spot Burnstick (it's named as such). After that things get nebulous. I see Beaver Lake to the east of Burnstick but do not see Birch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Birch Lake is just off of the Burntstick Lake Road before Burtstick and Beaver. There are signs on the road but it might be too small to be noted on some maps. There is a small slew that can be seen just off of the Burtstick Lake road (west side I beleive) and the turn off in just after this, also on the west side of the road.

Scotty, I think you mean between Burntstick and Beaver. There was a Watchable Wildlife sign where you turn off the Burntstick road onto the lease road, but it may not be there anymore? Good luck at Birch if you get out.

If you are coming North up the Burnstick Lake Road, I believe it is the third left after the Burnstick Lake parking lot. There are detailed directions in this thread: http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/showthread.php?t=46875&highlight=birch+lake

There was a trailer at the small parking lot when I was there last. Looked like it had been there a while.

Oh yeah, if you're a member of anglers atlas here is a good map. Seemed to be pretty accurate when I was there.

Ok, Thanks a bunch to everyone. You have all been more than helpful. I now have Birch Lake marked on my Garmin digital map. The way I see it is as follows:follow Township Rd 352a past Beaver Lake.Go past a hydro line (right side as you head west. Birch lake is just past this point on right hand side. Thanks again everyone. If weather holds, and I fish I will give a full report.
