Hey there:wave: im new to the forum and i'v been thinking about getting into flyfishing for goldeye and whitefish in the NSR, just wondering if anybody knows what kind of flies to use for these fish. Thanks.

I have used both the bead head wooly bugger and the bead head prince nympth for both these fish and have had great success. Just remember that whitefish have very soft mouths and it is easy to pull the hook out of them. You also have to be on the bottom for hook-ups.

If Goldeye are rising use a pattern called the Humpy, its my go to for anything rising lol. Same with a royal coachman, they absolutely love those patterns. And white fish are not always on the bottom, iv caught them at all depths.
