Hello all, I usually fish for walleye in northern sask but I want to try these two lakes. Would anyone be so kind as to recommend a few lures to try at these lakes.
thanks in adavance

Walleye lures work the same in no matter what lake you are in, don't they?

I agree with Nicemustang. I've fished at Lac La Ronge in northern Saskatchewan and I've fished Travers. Never had to go buy new stuff for either place. A walleye is a walleye. Stick a rubber jig on a jig head and go to town. I like light color heads and either black or orange tail.

Anything works really...I'm the opposite Rob. I like bright colors on the head but white on the jig plastics.
Although I most often use a jead and minnow or leech with no plastics.
Or lindy rig or drop shot is the other method.

White spinnerbaits.
Sure if you're on the search path if you don't know where they are :P

I was down there last summer and a lot of guys were using pickerel rigs with decent success.

White spinnerbaits.
Jesse, the purple spinnerbaits work even better, but pink popcorn on a pikeral rig still rules.
