cochrane lake

Has anybody have any info on Cochrane lake just outside cochrane? I hear there are perch and pike there.

Heard the same, but also heard its more difficult to access that lake though as its surrounded by native/private land.

I stopped there once last year just to check it out big misstake, a waste of time, i realized as soon as i stepped out the car. Fishing was as hopeless as my first cast in a puddle. Find somewhere else!!! seriously.

Umm if you were fishing in a puddle it wasn't the Fish's fault you didn't catch them :lol:

I made the mistake of going there once, the water is very shallow and very weedy, you catch lots of weeds every cast and it kind of smells like a sewer.
Not one bite either.
