Might head out to Sturgeon, I've some luck for nice pike early in the year but never tried for walleye. Any in there?
I usually fish the north end but any tips would be great.
:o

Thanks

This time of year I would try the East side by the reserve. Or start at Williamson and work your way around the south side. When we used to icewfish we did it on the east side so they might still be over there.

was out on friday the fishing is pretty slow and the fish are also pretty slow we managed to catch 7 walleye and 11 pike most were on the east side no walleye and very few pike near youngs point and the hump in the middle produced a couple. It should pick up in a couple weeks

Saturday the fishing was pretty hot. Caught nearly 3 dozen pike, a few short walleye and 4 limits of walleye for the frying pan. The walleye were all prespawn and tasty!

What have you guys been using to bring in these kinds of numbers? I was at youngs point on sunday and struck out. Mind you I was fishing off shore and I think I need to be a little further out.
