There actually is nothing to say but SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. We gave what we had to them today. We had 2 boats out throwing everything from minnows & jigs, minnows & bottom bouncers,, leaches,,, worms,, fast,,, slow,,, stopped,,, shallow,, deep,,, medium and nothing.. 1 little walter and 2 hammer handle pike for a whole afternoon and evening's fish. Got on the water at around 1:00 PM and left at 8:45 PM..
I am going to give the lakes another 2 weeks to warm up and am going to go after the river for a while..
But after all that it was still awesome just to get out and play on the water for what turned out to be a great evening on the open water..
