Does the fish finder have to be on the back

of your boat. I was just wondering because of my inflatable i found a perfect way to put the fish finder on the side. I would put pvc pipes through the unused ore holes and have it in the water then i would put the fish finder clamped to the side of the boat.

Put it wherever you want it. But it will tell you where the fish are in relation to where it is positioned.
