New to forum folks, heading out this weekend to North Sask. for a mini holiday and want to take my wife fishing. Would like to stay around Rocky I think and will drag out the jet boat. Any suggestions on where to go and what species to target this time of year?

Hi There. That part of the river is awesome for brown trout rockies pike and walleye. There is also brookies and bull trout as well. A good spot to try is where the clearwater runs into the north saskatchewan river. basicly any backwater or stream running in is excellent. Spoons and rapellas work the best if spincasting. Good luck
