Small fishing lakes in Westlock/ Thorhild area

Kids want to go fishing on some smaller lakes in the Westlock/ Thorhild area as fishing the bigger lakes is rather busy.
Bought a 10 ft aluminum with 4 hp motor now the only thing needed is to find some of the smaller pond to fish in.
The kids are mainly interested in pike
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Any lookouts in terms of obsticles that will ruin a prop/ day would also be greatly appreciated

You can try Halfmoon lake , i fished it a lot when i was a kid but have not been there in years. They have had a few winterkills the past years so only small pike and perch in there.
