Hi all.

There were tons of perch swimming in the shallows last night so I am hopign that is an indication that we will catch a mess on Wednesday night.

Please come and join us for a pleasant evening of perch bonking. It is lots of fun...:snapoutofit: honest!

Please come to Lake Sundance at 6:00 pm on May 19, 2010 if interested.

Address:
Sundance Lake Residents Association Ltd.
63 Suncrest Way S.E.

Please be there at 6:00 pm. If you can PM me that you are coming...that would be great.

Waders will be handy if cold out...water is warming fast...over 12 degrees now. double from 2 weeks ago.

It was great to see the young people getting involved with this haul of perch...Unfortunately while we were totalling the counts and cleaning up, one of the residents took all the large perch that were sorted into a pile …

I did some casting after the netting and this was the first perch I caught

How would one go about fishing in Sundance for perch? I know it is private so it would be difficult. I think it would be great to go and catch fish and also help to control the perch population at the same time.

first month of netting in 2009 - 20,215 perch

Started earlier in 2010 by about 3 weeks. Not sure what is says as of yet.

Wow that is a huge difference.. They are either getting wise to what you are doing or you are winning the battle and they are thinning out..

Wow Badback...

Please don't tell me that this resident didn't do any of the work before they buggered off with the big ones! I am assuming that this resident won't be invited back in the future.

That is a beauty you pulled in with the rod!

Will you guys be doing another netting over the long weekend? I would love to come out again and lend a hand...and I will have the time.

If not, I'll try to catch the next one.

Can we let these kids with their bonkers loose in the house of commons or the legislature?

What were the counts for Wed? Hope it was a lot more than the previous Friday.

Next time tell the kids they can bonk anyone who takes the fish early....wait on second thought that might be manslaughter

600+ perch. They seem to be moving more as the water warms.
