Sorry to hear that. Kinda sucks hey my day ended very quickly as well. We did manage 1 pike before frozen hands sent us home. Did you happen to notice the water level at buck? Last time I was there was at Calhoun bay and the little outlet/inlet was down alot.

Went out yesterday as well but didn't feel like ice fishing .

Went back ouit again today... Caught a couple of nice Walleye and a couple of decent size pike, along with several very aggresive smaller pikes.. Water levels are consistant with last years levels.. Cold and windy today though, still better than yesterday

Sweet thanks for the UD have to head again this week. Bad weather also spoiled my fisrt outing.

Scrappy pike will do and one `right`size walleye for the pan and I`m a happy camper.

Sitting here at Buck Lake and its darn cold!!!! White caps on the lake and a very nasty cold wind. Can't stay out on the lake for more than an hour because you freeze and the trailer is going through propane like crazy just to keep warm!! Had an altercation with some guy who figured he could just park his unit on our back door and was asked to move by the CO. Next day he comes and sucker punches my husband (who now has a wrecked knee from the ensuing battle). Fellow was then escorted out of the campground by RCMP. Overall, just a crappy weekend
