For everyone else it was awesome lots caught and release. Me on the other hand forgot my anchor and i had to keep repositioning my inflatable. I went to youngs point. I manage to get 1 bite big enough to keep but the line snapped as i was about to grab it. So can anyone give me on advice for spoons and jigs to use. Or how to use them. Im used to fishing trout and i have only fished for walleye once in my life.

Forget the anchor, do some trolling.
My fishin partner was out there basically the past 8 days and has lit it up on basically everything he was using.

I dont mean to be arrogant but whats with all this talk about spoons?
I use spoons when I fish for Salmon, thats it!

Im a Rapala and Cotten Cordell man myself...
Spool up with some #8 Stren and tie on a Rippl'n Redfin by Cotten Cordell or even a smaller series terminator spinner (colorado blade, not willow) and watch the fish jump in the boat.
Troll as slow as humanly possible in 7-10' of water....If the wind kicks up I will even throw the sock out the back and shut down the motor.

Stay thirsty my friend and good luck.
