who will police the new boating license?
Anyone heard on what penalties will be handed out?

new since when i got my boating license like 5 years ago. when me and my dad got pulled over they said it was federal so they do not have 2 ask for it and they use it more to further penalize someone being stupid with their boat and skidoos.

I heard it's a 250.00 dollar fine.

It's also hardly new, and yes any federal authority, sheriff's, peace officers or police force can hand out the ticket as it's a noncriminal code offense.

Its select Fish and wildlife officers who have the training , also RCMP the fine is 250.00 If caught with out pleasure craft license .
