While buying some bait at the Husky in Ft. Sask this morning, the woman at the counter told me that there was a reclaimed gravel pit within the city limits and it contained pike in it. Has anyone else heard of this place? My boy and I drove down where she said it should be, but the only thing that looked like it could be a reclaimed pit was surrounded by a fence.
We fished the river near Turner Park for a bit on a dock, but had nothing. The only excitement was a smal fish jumped near the shore.
