Any reports on how the fishing has been at Twin Valley Reservoir lately?

I've been there twice recently. Both times I got into seemingly hungry fish in the bays. It's only my second season fishing for Pike and my first season spin fishing for them. Last year, with the fly rod, I had several great days...20+ Pike easily. This year seems to be different there. On both recent trips there was a flurry of activity and I caught a few Pike fairly quickly. All of a sudden they seemed to disappear and the fun was over, not to return, though I was constantly marking them on the finder. I don't know if this is typical of Pike (this happens to me all the time fly fishing for Trout), but it certainly wasn't the case last year. Anyway, spoons seemed to work best, a blue and silver cisco and five of diamonds, and the bites were happening really close to shore. My brother had good luck, as always, on those Storm leeches. Heading back there tomorrow to try my luck again.

I hope that helps a little and please forgive my inexperience.
