Elbow River

Can anyone tell me about the elbow? where to fish, what kinds etc.. thankS!

Where on the Elbow? City section, or west of Calg., headwaters?

City section below the dam has mostly browns, some rainbows, pike, rocky mtn whitefish and burbs

Above the dam pretty much the same but add the odd perch. Upper reaches there are Rainbows, cutthroat bulls and brook trout.

I only fly fish but know guys who do well with Mepps and Panther Martin spinners
