Since the walleye are extinct. And the pike pop has severly dropped. I have one thing to say/ask
I'm going up there for a week in July any august this year.
Now I always have a backup tactic.
In this case angling lake. Which I had to resort to last year. Non stop pike action. Both days. All day.
Now with Laurier. I used to catch mad fish their. But in the last 3 years it's just been dead in the past 3 years not a single fish pulled. But I know they're in their. Cuz if seen people return in their boat with them as late as last year.
But for me. Nothing.
If you fish this lake and know some tactics please share.
I'd like to conquer this lake once more.
Otherwise it's off to angling.
It's not as much fun when your pulling in 1-2 or in my case 3 at a time. Every day all dAy.
If your thinking of hitting Angling no large boats. The launch is terribly shallow. A great lake for a one day trip!
