saw it a couple of weeks ago, Personally I thought the video was pretty funny (cat taunting the doe) but then it got kind of disturbing when the dog got it.

That's why I never teach my dogs to play dead. ;)

Cranbrook, Grand Forks, and many other towns in BC are being taken over by deer. Local gov. and resident deer huggers don't have the cahones to kill any, and so they double every year. The deer stay in town as there are lots of gardens and orchards to eat from, the sidewalks are cleared of snow, and the wolves and cougars rarely come into town. They are a big problem now for human safety.

Just think if the doe went after a child standing in her front yard. :2mo5pow:

Although I agree here, you can't really blame the dog either, it didn't seem to be provoking anything here, just caught the eye of a ****ed off momma.

I am going to second what WB said, i was in Kimberley a couple years back, and the mulies are thicker in those townsites than anywhere in Alberta that I have seen. As nice as it is to think, humans and wildlife cant co-exist peacefully in an urban setting.
