How does one apply for the Ministers draw for Cadomin sheep?

someone from the local fish and game club will likely be selling tickets. 10 bucks each. i forget the guys name in hinton, but ask around, someone will know. or just wait a minute and someone will post a link for mail in. im too lazy to look.

and by the way, the minister tag is not limited to cadomin....its province wide.

Here's a question? Lets say you get drawn for the 438 tag and you also win the sheep raffle, does that mean you get to shoot 2 sheep this year??? or Muleys or Elk?

yes you would. sweet deal if you can get it. good luck! also, if you got a ram last year, then you would normally not be allowed to take one this year...this is the exception.

That is a sweet deal. I didn't know that was the case. Unlikely I will need to worry though. Thanks for the reminder. Just bought my tickets.

As an FYI - The Calgary office is also selling tickets on a 3 gun draw. 1 gun for each 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize. $2 each. Two shotguns and a Rifle.

That exact thing happened to an outfitter friend of mine a few years back. He shot a 170+ ram on the Red Cap and then shot a 180+ in cadomin a couple months latter. Lucky bass turd.

Right on Rack, thats my little brothers Bday, I know that the draw is on Aug. 20th. I read the Brochure that TJ posted. But it doesnt say when the cutoff is for buying tickets???

My guess is until they run out or until very close to Aug 20th.

Buy them tomorrow and you'll be fine, or at least call to find out.

LOL yep. He sure is a great guy to hear stories from as well. Easily one of the best guys to share a coffee with that I've met. Heck of a hunter and heck of a great guide.
