Note: This is not a rant about closed waters, or the reasons for the thier closure. Take that discussion elsewhere please.

I was just thinking today, if I could list off the top of my head, a compilation of waters in Alberta that are permanently closed to angling. Excluding the obvious ones.... hatchery ponds, urban man made lakes, I thought of.

-Jacques Lake: in Jasper

-The Three Creeks: in the Lovett River area (thier names elude me), that they've been conducting that study on, on the impact of logging around a creek

-The Inlets and Outlets of the Golden Trout alpine lakes.

There must be more...anyone?

The Ram river isn't closed to fishing. It is just catch and release until where Fall Creek runs into the main Ram river. New this year is Fall Creek below the falls to protect the Bull Trout.
