Thanks for the tip but my problem is loading the canoe on top of the SUV by myself. She's a heavy beast and I dont have a trailer to fit it yet.

I was simply asking if she needed help with locations and fishing tips. Wow, people are awfully sensitive here, why should I help.

We just got back from a week at the cabin at pigeon and some walleye fishing. You can hit the usual spots like the provincial point, bird poop island, or the mulhurst drop off. Seemed like if the water was a little choppy or there was a good wind blowing, jig and minnow was the ticket. Once the evening rolled around and the water calmed down jig and leech produced more.

Christine , I should see you there on the weekend . I think im due for a little different action for a day or so .

Also there is Zeiner provincial park and then Pigeon lake Provincial park but there's many other camp sites around the lake .

Pretty tough to beat Jig and minnow , or Jig and a leech , theres of course other ways to catch them but ive caught 100's of them with those two systems .

Hey! Pigeon Lake is a beautiful lake, I camp @ Zeiner myself, my Grandparents host there and do a pretty good job although can be strict at times so its nice to get away to other lakes where you're not so supervised, lol! But Zeiner is very well taken care of, clean showers, etc. They have the three options for camping, large and open which is B loop, tight and close neighbours which is C loop or medium sized in the bush which is the A loop, no power there which is my favourite.. but sometimes you will find us near my Grandparents in the C loop or even in there site. There is a lot that are first come first serve but ppl usually steal those away by Thursday and a lot you need to book in advance, hope this helps!

BF83 Just look for battleship row a few hundred yards out from provincial park boat launch. There will be about 30 boats at anchor - can't miss it. Just bring along a few cans of minnows and a hook sharpener

Thats where we spent most of our time fishing, I even landed a small pike...didnt get a pic of it though....and lots of walleye..I think one almost hit 5 pounds.

The wally's are usually pretty hungry there. The only bad day I have had there was when an idiot on a sea doo was running a slalom course through the anchored boats. :sign0176:

Should that be a few cans of beer instead of minnows ?
