Hey Everyone,

I have got to say that this is the first year ever, or at least in a very long time that I have not gotten out fishing as much as in years past. Its a darn good thing the season is still in it's early stages.

I did manage to take the "wifey" out to Jasper for Canada Day long weekend and ended up searching for BBJ down in Cadomin on Saturday. Couldn't find the guy.. lots of places one can sneak into...... but I found some good fishing and future camping spots maybe BBJ you can show me where you were camped at one day :sHa_shakeshout:

Anywho this thread is just a place for me to collectively post and share randoms pics from my outdoor adventures this summer. I hope you all enjoy....

no pic of baitfisher holding her head and moaning about being run into by a wild trailer either :sHa_sarcasticlol:
nice pics, Ive never been to that park, have to add it to the bucketlist. how far is it from Edmonton?

Wayne are you talking about Jasper National Park? If so it is roughly 365 km,s west of Edmonton. So if you like your vehicle to last I'd say a good 3hr drive, with a stop or two. Now if your foot is a heavy one...:fighting0030: like mine used to be I's say 2hrs..

Cadomin is in between and the place I caught the Rocky White is just south of Edson.
One thing i love about fishing there is the Presence of Fish and Wildlife officers and Conservation Officers as well. I ALWAYS see them there.

seems like a good thread to ask as there are many of the friendlys on here; so, driving from Vansewer to Deadmonchuck a couple of weeks back, driving through Jasper, there's a big lake that you can pull up to at the side of the road,, what is the lake and what are the fish frolicking near shore bloop-here bloop-there bloop-bloop here and another bloop-bloop there? My rods were buried and a scruffy cub ended my curiosity, so no fish for me.
