Red Deer Lake at Lloyd Park is a shallow slough overgrown with reeds and grass. There is no inlet or outlet and the level changes with the water table, 5 years ago it almost went dry. In 2001 we drove a small bobcat 400 yards into the lake to retrieve a model airplane. The only public access is through the park and there is a panoramio picture showing the marsh at the edge. No chance of getting a boat onto the "lake".
