Hey guys, im planning to take a friend to the pine this weekend. I just have a few questions. The first one is how would i get there from calgary (detailed directions please)

second is, we are planning to shore fish, and does anyone know if we will be successful from the shore?

And lastly, is live bait aloud such as leaches?

Thanks

1. Drive south on Mcleod trail past High River and keep going south until you get to Stavely and take HWY 547 West until you cross a bridge. That bridge is PCR. You can fish under the bridge with bait.

2. Use smelts. They work better than leeches.

3. Shore fishing is awesome. You can catch hundreds in a day.

Use minnows, smelts, worms with a jig under a slip bobber set at about 6 to 7 feet and you will catch them all day long.
