My uncle sent me these pics. I asked him where they were taken, here was his reply.

no Ron I don't but I assume somewhere in Alberta by the looks of the country side... Excellent pictures though... Bruce a friend of mine sent them to me , he received them from one of his former employees whom I am sure received them from his brother who works in the oil fields out there.

I would say, somewhere in Alberta too.

Got the same pics from a friend who said it was his son, working in the forestry sector, 40 north of Hinton, on the Grande Cache road, who was shotgun in the truck that took them. I received them about the mid of June and forwarded them to many since then including a friend in Florida, who really freaked, having spent time with me on the trapline..

Dark Wing posted those earlier today over in the General discussion. They been making the rounds for a few weeks now, I got them a while ago. They were taken near the Berland on Hwy 40 south of Grande Cache.

Tuc did a much better job.

That stretch of the highway has produced a lot of grizz feeding on road kill pics over the years.

Geez. I can't believe it, I thought us Albertan's had used up all their habitat, and driven them to near exstistion. Who would ever imagine a grizzly bear being able to hump next to a highway? I thought they needed, a undisturbed picture perfect environment???? Must be adapting to this one?? Imagine that. Very nice pics!
