Tough Times On Minnewanka....

I have been finding difficult to catch anything on Minnewanka this year so far...., sometimes not even a bite.., please suggest flies or spoon that might work for me...., you all have a great weekend..

thanks for the replies guys... i will give it a try ....with the lucky strike spoon as for dynamite i dont think the parks Canada will be too happy about that............

The few times I have been on the water...a normal old red and white spoon, or gold or silver color were the ones that worked. With the bait and scented lure ban, and the lack of it being stocked, does make for a difficult day of fishing. Still nice to be out on the water though. I have walked about 10 miles of shoreline also, and not so much as a nibble too.

Might have more to do with the fact lake trout at this time of year are probably at 60 to 100 feet down...?

Spring and Fall from shore should work better... Summer...not so much.
