Peppers Lake

I am taking the canoe up to Peppers Lake next week. Has anyone been there lately, How did you do. What lures and flies work there this time of the year?
Is there a good time of the day to fish the lake. We have not fished the lake for 8 years, assume the brookies are still good size .:)

Peppers Lake has dried out and is being used as a clean land fill site now. It's very sad. Peppers Quarry is what it is being called now. Sorry :sad0071:
