Got this link from the guy who owns the lodge in the NWT that we fly into. He said that all these years he gets a plane and checks for ice out conditions. Now he can do it from the comfort of his living room.
These images are updated daily and are linked to NASA some how. Downfall, you can't zoom in and it doens't cover all of North America. Useful tool though. Here is the link.
