BOVIN Lake

I'm headed out to Bovin lake tomowrrow morning with a buddy and his 9 year old son for a nice mountain hike and hopefully some fishing.

Has anyone had any luck up there this year?

Is the well road open, or do we have to hike from the gate?

Anything else in the area that is fishing well?

If anyone cares to join us, we will be leaving the trailhead by about 8:30

I think the gate opens in early July so you should be good . If not shes a fair haul in from the main road

Oops, that was suposed to say "got to work though". Did you make it out? and if so how was it? as well how is the road/trail in and how far from the gate?
