Just got this email from a guy from Mexico I guided in 2007. He hunts sheep every year and got this ram last fall with Arctic Red River Outfitters. Another ram that score doesnt do justice. Its 41 1/2" on both horns and scored a hair over 166 :sign0176:. All I can say is great ram Bud!

sometimes scores dont mean beans. it seems to happen most on sheep and moose. that is a beauty dall and i know i wouldnt hesitate for a second. looks like a whopper hole in the back side of that cape though. hope the taxi can make it work.

I dont think I would have shot that guy even on the last day. His one tip is more broomed off than the other and when he is on the wall everyone would think you pulled up short on a marco polo.

Just kidding... a ram of a lifetime. Any ram is an accomplishment in itself.

You are right as well. These are the only 2 I would go with. Forgot about Chris and thought of it after I submited my last post. The only downside with Bonnet plume is the price. They seem real high compared to others but then again they are top notch and a 40" ram is a reality with them. Arctic Red i think the only downside is that it is a backpack only thing I believe with them which could be tough

He's a beauty fore sure!!

You can't go wrong with any of the NT outfitter's in the Mackenzies.

Stan Simpson, Stan Steven's, Nahanni, Werner, Gana River...they're all awesome.

I like the sheep that come out of the more Northern areas and AR's is the best IMO. Tight curls and big bases....that's what I

You will not find very many (if any) "loopy" rams up thata way. They got the best of the best as far as areas go IMO.

One could spend a long time to find a ram like that and the last thing on my mind would be score. What a awesome ram!
2x Tundra Arctic does have great rams but you can find great rams in all areas and where you would least expect them. Most times nobody even knew the ram existed.

Wish I could get some pics of his other rams(there are some pigs). If I remember right in 2007 when I guided him he got his 14th North American Sheep(Dall,Stone,Bighorn, and Desert). Since then I think he has at least 2 more, the one pictured and he got drawn and harvested a Colorado Bighorn. I think he has 3 stones, 2 desert, 3 bighorns and the rest are dalls in total now.

You think he'd be interested in adopting a son that could help him with all that sheep hunting? :thinking-006:

Tight curl on that one beautiful, I'm envious!

\Maybe looks tight because he's so long.
