Which one should i choose. I am going there primarly for fishing and swimming. How are they comparing prices and facilities. Also how is the water levels. I drive a 14ft fibercraft fiberglass boat so i dont want to run into any underwater hazards. Will i get charged if i just launch my boat then pull it out of the water after each use and bring it to my campsite.

Hilliards Bay - $ 27.00 per night for a powered site ( $ 20.00 non power )
- Firewood included in camping fee, all you can use
- lots of water taps located through out the park
- free boat launch, open all day and night ( lots of parking )
- fish cleaning stands at boat launch and campground
- shower building with flush toilets ( loonie showers )
- no reservations, first come first serve

Shaws Point - BRING MONEY! ( daily boat launch fee, $ 8.00 per bundle of
firewood, up to $ 38.00 for a power site )
They do have a nice restaraunt, mini golf, showers and a
great marina, as well as a really nice fish cleaning station,
but they are private owned and very pricey. Good friendly
staff though.

Oh yeah, both Parks have very nice east facing beaches, all sandy bottoms, no rocks, and water stays shallow for quite a ways out - good for the kids.

Both Parks have good, deep, functioning boat launches - your 14 foot fiberglass boat will have NO problems!
