fish the shallows at the inlet. small spoons work great too, very small as in 1 inch or so

I've caught about 15-20 there this year and the size ranged around 7or 8 inches up to 11.5 inches. Not sure if it's fished out yet though. I think they stock it at least twice a year. I find bright bright scented baits such as cheese and shrimp work very well.

i was out there a few days ago and i have been waiting for the water clarity to clear up because it was like chocolate milk a few weeks ago and right now the water is better but could use a little more time. i was using cheese and only caught one for the whole day i ran off to allen bills and got lots of hits but the fish are kinda finiky and the shoreline is kinda crowded when the camp buses come in with the kids. bring bug spray you will need it.just watch out also for the farmers huge cows wandering in the area where the picnic benches are then tend to sneek up on ya and you get this feeling something is watching you. lol
