Bow river float times

I am planning to float the Bow river this weekend from Glenmore Trail to Carseland. I have done the trip 5 times from Fish Creek Park to Carseland and know my time line there, but I've never done through town. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to float from Glenmore Trail to Fish Creek Park? And is it worth a extra night it a tent? Think the River will be clean by Friday?

I would call it about 3-4 hours without much stopping, I fish out of a car topper o I can't pause like the river boats can do. So I get out and fish the good spots

Was talking to a buddy and he said that the river is actually quite clean as of this AM, but not sure about the next 12hours or so...

Is there a weir to cross in this stretch or is it anything I should know?

Anyone have Approximate Float Times from various points on the Bow River Starting from any Launch below the Weir to Sikome, Policeman Flats and McKinnon Flats?

Was wondering where all those launches were! Thinking about a float from 17th Ave to Policemans flats or maybe 22X down to McKinnon.

Here is my weekend plans. Driving down to Calgary Friday at noon.
Launch at Glenmore trail by 4:30
float to first island after 22x and set up camp
day 2 float just past Mckinnon flats and set up camp
day 3 float to Carseland and then drive home.
I cant wait to hook some browns...

Roughly how long to float from 22x to Carseland?

this weekend
floated from Fish Creek to Mackinion 7 hours put in at 9:30 am arrived 4:30 pm one 20 minute stop for lunch
went from Mac Flats to Caresland 5 hours 15 minutes put in at 10:15 am pull up at Caresland 3:29 one stop for lunch and one stop to tie a hook
Saturday land 23 fish 6 over 2lbs two guys
Sunday about the same 3 guys but alot smaller fish
