I was talking with a couple of ladies last winter, and they told me about seeing two Caribou Bulls north of 22x and the Priddis turnoff. These girls know what a Caribou is, no doubt at all. I am thinking that a couple of Bulls escaped from the game ranch west of Red Deer Lake.

Anyone see or hear about these Caribou? Have they been caught or killed?

Really Officer, I thought it was a Mule Deer...

I havent heard about them, it would be within a few miles of my house. However there was a couple of escaped bulls last year kind of by the river ford.

Another funny story, right by the cafe on 22 a couple years ago there was a couple of escaped osstriches? running around in a field. I think one was captured but the other one had a heart attack, thats how the story went anyway.:sign0068:

Yah caribou bulls. As for the ostrich it would be fair game on my land upland or big game. Lots of strange animals in this area, weird acreage people. :scared0018: One friend had a pot belly pig come flying out from under the bail tarp one day, there would have been a bacon strip in my shorts.:sign0068:
