If you are in a boat, we had huge sucess off of VW point...tonnes of Walleye, just hard to get em small enough to keep! Sat morning and Fri night we must have boated 40 fish...only 5 keepers total...rest were to big:mad0100:

I was up there last weekend and we were hitting them to the left of the boat launch in about 15 - 20 ft of water. Like Thorne said, lots of fish with a good many too big to keep. I was up there this past Sat. and the lake was a rocking and a rolling with white caps so we moved farther north and had a slow day of fishing on rock island lake.

Anybody know why that camp ground is closed?
