Sure wouldn't. Only caught one fish last 2 outtings but seen:
.Several family of duck.
.Deer crossing river.( twice, one at mock speed- took her less than 2 min to cover 200 yards of water) was neat
.Beaver repairing same dam he has had for past 4 years
.watched/watching a million flowers bloom
.found roughly a dozen weights, a few bells, half a doz jigs perfectly intact
.discovered a couple new holes
.saved a cow that had his head stuck in the barbwire
.admired how the birds fish and am totally jealous
.met a bunch of great people
.cleaned up their trash lol arrrrrr but in doing so found 2 rod holders as I put their fire out from the night prior, found perfectly good bait which wrangled well for me
.found 2 bags of herb that I am sure someone is wondering "where did it go"?
.found a few dozen stashed beer, usually leave them alone but if the fishns slow....
.saved a pal from falling into the riv......twice
.been saved.....twice.
.watched a few fisherpeople from ages 6 - 65 catch their first fish...priceless

Nope, surely aint all about the fishn. Lotsa good/bad stuff out there, I love it all:)
Keep up the great fishn n pics Bob, many could/should learn from u.

awesome pics, neat to see a burb caught on the fly, and that cow calf pair, must be the most photographed animals on that road. I have seen her 3 times this year.

Wow you really have a knack for setting up some beautiful shots. Very artistic. I especially like the closeup of the golden stone nymph as well as the shot of the rod/reel with the barbed wire. Very cool. You should send some of your photography into Fly Fusion magazine!

As for sending pics to a magazine- I worry that it would then begin to feel like work, & I'd start to hate taking pics...:confused:

But seriously, have you read Fly Fusion? If you haven't pick up a copy - you'll see what I mean. I didn't mean you have to do it as a full time job, but don't you think it would be cool to see a photo you took in a magazine like that? And its Calgary based too.
