Weekend at Newell

Took the wife to Newell for the weekend & dang it was hot!!! Typical fishing there; great one day, slow the next lol. Got my new personal best pike & my wife caught her biggest walleye though so it was awesome!

Pike was 44" BTW

Congrats on some nice fish.
The picture of you holding the big pike doesnt do it any justice. Then when you look at the picture of it when you are releasing it and its like HOLY COW thats a big fish.

Haha, I know that's why I threw that release pic in. She was a wide girl; 22.5" girth! Also I made a huge mistake when holding her for the pic; I should have held my arms straight out towards the camera like most people do with their fish:evilgrin:
