Pike Fishing near Calgary?

I live in Southeast Calgary and want to take a day trip out of the city and go catch some pike. I dont have a boat so I would be shorefishing. Ive been viewing some of the other posts and heard names like PCR, Chestermere, Travers and others. I wouldnt want to be driving more than a couple of hours out of town and Im not really looking for any real trophy fish, just some decent sized ones. (More quantity than quality)

will be out every day after thursday, till monday night, Have 18ft lund and so far one, other fisher, easy room for one more, can be two,.
Mostly go after pike, but never go with out action.
